Since 1975, NSBE has cultivated the culture of Black Engineers as a diverse hub of black excellence for all nsbe-vsu-logo.pngstudents in our vast community. The mission of NSBE is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community is in short, a mission of continuing achievement in the pursuit of knowledge and success. Here at Virginia State University, our chapter has taken this statement and put it into action to support our members academically, professionally, and personally to guide our chapter on a path to greater success here at Virginia State University as a nationally recognized Chapter of the Year nominee and the Premier Academic Organization on campus!
